The Indian Monsooned Malabar is a very low acidity, thick and creamy, overly earthy style cup of coffee.  This coffee is naturally processed in the monsoon rains which is unique to this bean. The best way I’ve described it to customers is it’s as if Folgers did coffee right; in the same vein as breweries who make a classic American lager, but with better ingredients and more attention to detail than a corporate brand. Classic American coffee taste. Devoid of acidity and smooth. Completely inoffensive and crushable. Great everyday driver and it’s what I imagine coffee drinkers want when ordering a “medium” roast, though we do ours dark. Makes a lovely espresso as well.
